The City of West Hollywood presents Art in Odd Places (AiOP) 2025: VOICE – ENGAGEMENT | AGENCY | PRESENCE | RESONANCE – curated by Deborah Oliver. As we celebrate 20 years of Art in Odd Places and 40 years of the City of West Hollywood, VOICE honors the creative, resilient, and activist spirit that defines both. Rooted in collective action, West Hollywood reminds us that expression—whether visual, embodied, or performative—can drive meaningful change. This year, 35 Artists Projects are invited to explore how voice takes shape in public space: through gestures, images, actions, and interventions. In a time of disconnection, can art help us hear one another in new and resonant ways? City of West Hollywood, celebrates both the 40th anniversary of the city’s incorporation and the 20th edition of this iconic public visual and performance art festival.
